Two ways, and which one you need depends on where you want to meet.
Coming to the Pleasanton office? Book online. You see real openings, you pick one, and you get a confirmation straight away. The calendar needs at least four hours' notice.
Need us to come to you? Call or text (925) 319-8855. Mobile visits are booked by phone so we can check the address, the timing and where to park before you are counting on us.
Need it in the next few hours? Call. The online calendar will not show a slot inside four hours. The phone often can.
What to have readyLink to this section
Whichever way you book, these are what we ask:
- What is being notarized. A form, a power of attorney, a trust, a deed, whatever it is
- How many people are signing
- How many documents need a notary stamp
- Roughly when you need it
- For a mobile visit: the address, and anything that makes it findable. Gate code, building, unit, floor, parking. For a hospital or care home, the facility name and the room number
With that we can quote you a price, tell you what to bring, and give you a time.

- $10 for each document notarized. Two people signing the same form is two signatures, so $20
- $75 flat if we come to you, the same for one signature or twelve
- No travel fee at the Pleasanton office, which is every appointment booked through the online calendar
You pay at the appointment, by card or cash. Nothing is charged when you book.

You get a confirmation email from Google Calendar with the date, the time and the office address. It carries a reschedule link and a cancel link, so you can move the appointment yourself without calling.
If anything about your appointment is unusual, call (925) 319-8855 and say so. It is better to know before you drive over.
Before you arriveLink to this section
Two things cause almost every wasted appointment, and both are avoidable.
Bring photo ID for every person signing. It must be current, or have been issued within the past five years. Check yours in ten seconds →
Do not sign the document yet. You sign in front of the notary, or you acknowledge in front of the notary that the signature is yours. A document already signed and put away is the second most common reason a visit cannot go ahead.
Everyone who is signing needs to be there at the same time. A notary is not a witness — if your document needs witnesses, bring your own.

Booking for someone else. People do this all the time. A son booking for his mother, an HR manager for a new hire, a paralegal for a client. Book it in their name, or call and tell us.
Evenings and weekends. We work Mon–Fri 8am–8pm, Sat 9am–8pm, Sun 11.45am–8pm. If you need a time outside that, call and ask.
Cancelling. Free up to 24 hours before. Inside 24 hours or a no-show, the $75 travel fee applies to a mobile visit. Office appointments are never charged.
