This service is open now. Appointments at the Pleasanton office can be booked online, with a minimum of four hours' notice. Mobile visits, and anything needed sooner than four hours, are booked by calling or texting (925) 319-8855.

We are not a law firm. We are not attorneys.
We cannot:
- Give you legal advice
- Explain what your document means
- Tell you whether to sign it
- Choose which notary certificate you need
- Draft, fill in, or correct your document
- Promise that anyone will accept your document
If you come from a country where a notario público is a lawyer, please read this twice: a California notary public is not a lawyer. We cannot represent you in any legal matter, immigration included.

When you book, you are agreeing to:
- Bring valid photo ID for every person signing. Civil Code § 1185 sets out what counts
- Bring the document complete and unsigned
- Have everyone who needs to sign there at the appointment
- Pay the fees we quoted you when you booked

Notarization is $10 for each document notarized.
Travel is a flat $75 per visit if we come to you. It is separate from the notarization fee, and we tell you about it before you book.
You pay at the appointment. Card or cash. We do not take payment online.
When a notarization cannot go aheadLink to this section
California law requires a notary to say no in certain situations. For example:
- The ID does not qualify
- The signer does not seem to understand what they are signing
- The signer seems to be under pressure
- There are blank spaces that should be filled in
- The notary and the signer cannot communicate directly
- The notary has a personal or financial interest in the transaction
If we travelled to you, the $75 travel fee still applies, because the trip was made. No notarization fee is charged, because no notarial act was performed. Office appointments are not charged at all.
Cancelling and reschedulingLink to this section
Free up to 24 hours before the appointment. Call (925) 319-8855 to cancel or move it.
Inside 24 hours, or if nobody is there when the notary arrives, the $75 travel fee applies to mobile visits. Office appointments are not charged.
LiabilityLink to this section
We carry the California surety bond that the law requires. Government Code § 8212 sets the amount at $15,000.
We are responsible for performing the notarial act correctly. We are not responsible for what your document says, whether it does what you wanted, or whether someone else accepts it.
